Are there any SAHM in here? What age are you children and what activities do you do at home?

It is the hardest job on earth! My kids are 3months and almost 4 years. We never clock out or have lunch breaks. But i would not want to be doing anything else. flower

I agree. Sometimes I complain about how hard it is to stay at home and sometimes I honestly miss working out in the business world. I miss being respected as a professional and the interaction with others. But I remember back when I was working how much I cried and how much I missed my kids. I begged God everynight to make me able to be a stay at home mom again because I wanted to be home raising my babies. So now I'm just thankful that I have the opportunity to do it again. I have a new found respect for working mothers and stay at home mothers...its all hard in different ways! Moms are just the best!

Yes! We are the best. And like you said we dont get the respect for it. Ppl look at us like we are lazy and dont want to work. Well raising children is the hardest job! We dont breaks, lunches or off days. We dont clock in and out. Oh well at least we all know that we are great! flower

do you ever feel like working women that are not moms are always thinking their life is harder than yours because they are working full time? one of my best friends does not have kids but always compares herself to me because she has a part time job and goes to college part time. she always complains about how busy she is and she doesnt have time for house cleaning and blah blah blah. it makes me want to scream! she can't possibly know how demanding it is to have 2 kids at home but she swears she knows everything about motherhood and how it will be for her once she has kids. UGH! sorry for the vent! i love her dearly but sometimes its hard being a mom and having a bestfriend that is not!

Yeah! They are in for a rude awakening when they do have children. There is no comparison to having children. Ppl can tell you all about having children until you are blue in the face but you will NEVER understand it until you have them yourself!
