tips would be great!

i am going to be throwing a big birthday party for my daughter and son. They decided this year that they really want to celebrate their birthdays together and i think its a great idea. Its not something we've ever done before. They both want their own themes, so we will split and buy some stuff in the theme tyler wants and then other stuff in the theme carter picks. any of you ever done this or have any good tips for me? I would really appreciate it!

Where are you going to have it at? What themes do they want?

I don't know for absolute sure but we're planning on having the party at our house once we move. Of course I'm hoping that we will have a big backyard so that can rent a jumpy house! Tyler changes her mind every week but this week its a barbie theme and carter wants a thomas the train theme. And the thought just entered my mind yesterday of doing a surprise party for them!

A surprise party would be great! Just have 2 tables and make one thomas themed and the other barbie themed with streamers all around that area. Have a table for Carters presents and Tylers then a chair in the middle so you could pass them to each of them and if you dont have a table then have caters by his table and tylers by hers. the cake could be half and half or two smaller cakes each or cupcakes. Thats just an idea. Jo'el will do thomas(again) or cars.

Have the kids picked a theme yet? If not I would have done a princess & pirate party ...

princess and pirate would be cute! no, they keep picking a theme and changing their minds lol, kids! they are doing the same thing with their room themes because we will be moving into a new house soon and they both want new themes for their rooms but change their minds on it daily. it drives me nuts!
