i love doing kids crafts for playdates! it keeps them so entertained and it is something the kids can create their own version of, which provides for great stories to share when they are older! plus, total bonus is that craft supplies are dirt cheap, even if you buy it in bulk!

another good idea is cookie decorating. yes, it can be a little messy but super easy clean up. just make all the cookies ahead of time so that they are ready to decorate and let the kids go crazy with decorating them. This is also very cheap to do!
